A Snowy Day in Muleshoe!

How cute!

Talking to Grandmaw Kathy while officiating a busy living room.

Kenzie and Joey enjoying Winter's first snow in Muleshoe.

Kenzie decides she needs to feel the snow. It wasn't that cold today.

A Fun Trip to Lubbock!

Here's a pic of Zach wearing old school Memphis Grizz gear. He's wearing it in honor of the Grizzlies best road win this season over Portland. All of my kids will like Memphis teams, and may never know why. By the way, I hope Coach Porter gets the Tiger football team rolling quickly so that my kids don't wear Tiger gear in shame! Go Tiger Basketball!

Here's our little Zacky in a cute up, close and personal shot. This little one is very smart! He is mocking every sound he hears, and is desperately trying to communicate with us now. He figures out ways of grabbing things when we think there's no way possible that he can get to them, and is so driven to get what he wants. I'm kind of excited to see what becomes of this beautiful little boy. He's trying to catch up to brother and sister so fast that I don't think it'll be long before he's walking. He can already stand for a few seconds at a time, and he can roll anywhere he wants to go.

Here's a pic of our kiddos enjoying a movie on our way to Lubbock. Joey's deep in thought, but Mackenzie has taken the time to share a smile. She was singing "When you wish upon a star" tonight to our DVD of Pinocchio on the way back to Muleshoe. The video in our Pathfinder sure makes trips easier.

Here is Mikayla being the beautful woman that she is. We went to Lubbock today to get an idea of what Santa is going to get the kids for Christmas. Of course, I had to go and "call" Santa after we found a couple of choice toys for the kid's Christmas. It's amazing how well blankets in the back of your car help in keeping the secret of Santa alive.

Thanksgiving 2009

Here's Mikayla and her beautful table. She did such a good job preparing Thanksgiving for us all.

Here's Zachary with his Aunt Val and Casey's son, Jordan. Zach is a mess. He was busy just now trying to get to my computer cords. While he can't crawl yet, he definitely wants to roll around and can get to most places easily.

Here's the kids with their friend, Desiree. Looks like they're having fun at the kid's table. Today we hosted Kay's parents, sisters and her sister's friend, Casey's family at our house for Thanksgiving. Between the turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, stuffing, etc, we're all pretty full. It was a good day.

The Day After . . . No Black Friday for Us!

So, our day started after a nice sleep in. We thought about getting up at 3:00 am to shop, but decided to hold off from spending money.

After a nice breakfast of waffles, cereal, eggs, etc, we leasurely hung out all day. It's been nice not having to cook much since we still have lots of leftovers. We worked really hard the other day preparing for Turkey day and putting up Christmas lights. So, today was our recovery day.

Tomorrow we'll be busy doing stuff. Here's a few pics of our kids enjoying their day. Later I'll post pics of our Christmas lights we put up the other day. Happy Black Friday everyone!

Christmas Lights

Here's some pics of our outdoor lights. If you look real close, you just may see a couple of little elves running around.

Now let's go inside. Mikayla and Joey are busy decorating our Christmas tree as well. We will soon be all ready for Christmas to arrive.

Whoops, looks like we just finished decorating the tree in time. Zach's hunger alarm seems to have gone off.
